Showcases Innovations to Improve Outcomes, Lower Costs
BASKING RIDGE, N.J., Oct. 12, 2010 -- Hooper Holmes (NYSE Amex:HH) has been announced as the Official Engagement Sponsor at The Forum 10, the leading conference in wellness, prevention and chronic care management, hosted by the Care Continuum Alliance, October 13 to 15, in Washington, D.C. The conference is being held at the Washington Hilton, 1919 Connecticut Avenue NW.
The Forum 10 is a one-of-a-kind networking event co-located with the Integrated Care Summit, an employer-focused event produced with the National Association of Manufacturers and Center for Health Value Innovation. These events bring together some of the nation's leading employers, purchasers and payers and provide educational programs featuring the latest innovations in the health and wellness community.

Hooper Holmes Health & Wellness will operate a fully-equipped health screening station, and all conference participants will receive a comprehensive health screening. As part of the screening, participants will be introduced to two new and innovative screening tools.
Earlier Detection of Diabetes
The health screening will include Diabetes Know Now!, a program which combines an online diabetes risk assessment with an at-home diabetes laboratory test kit. By completing a quick, easy, 17-question risk assessment, people can gauge their risk for having or developing diabetes.
An estimated 57 million Americans have pre-diabetes. Early detection is the key because for people with pre-diabetes because lifestyle changes, including a 5%-7% weight loss and at least 150 minutes of exercise per week can reduce the rate of onset of type 2 diabetes by 58%.
Focus on Body Composition
The StayHealthy Body Composition Analyzer, a small device which accurately measures body composition, will also be showcased at the event to highlight the importance of measuring and reducing body fat.
