MESA, AZ--(Marketwire - October 12, 2010) - Iveda Solutions (
"The Arizona State Fair is a fun-filled, action packed event enjoyed by residents from across the state. Guest safety, well being, and comfort are of paramount importance to the fair. This new, added level of security is yet another way of honoring that commitment," said Don West, Executive Director of the Arizona State Fair.
Iveda Solutions, a provider of live video surveillance and centralized video hosting services, will secure the Arizona State Fair using its Express Surveillance System's (ESS). The ESS is a portable, self-contained, high-quality video surveillance system that will provide rapid deployment of live video surveillance for the State Fair's security contractor, SAG.
"We at the Special Assignments Group (SAG) are proud to be partnering with Iveda Solutions. The opportunity to leverage and meld layers of technology with live video surveillance for venue protection provides a safer environment overall. The proactive efforts of SAG and Iveda Solutions provide seamless access to resources, enhancing security for an enjoyable experience to all participants at the 2010 Arizona State Fair," said Frank Valenzuela, Public Information Officer for SAG.
SAG officers and security personnel will be able to securely access and monitor the cameras from any Internet-enabled device such as a cell phone, laptop or security booth to pin-point areas of concern. The ESS, hosted by Iveda Solutions, will act as a force multiplier enabling greater situational awareness of live events that may not be visible at the ground level.
"With our video surveillance services, we are delighted to help protect the over one million visitors that the Arizona State Fair attracts. Our partnership with SAG introduces a new application for our products and services, which is providing security to large events," said David Ly, President and CEO of Iveda Solutions.
The ESS is an ideal video surveillance system for security and operational support of any large events like the state fair. It is portable and easily deployed from one event to the next.
"This deployment is a good proof of concept for large event security. Other large public events and state fairs across the country can benefit from this innovative approach to security without incurring traditional capital expenditure and infrastructure cost," added Ly.
Large event organizers and law enforcement can leverage this portable and easy-to-deploy video surveillance system for operational purposes and public safety.
