PARSIPPANY, NJ--(Marketwire - October 19, 2010) - According to results of the latest survey from CyberShift, a global provider of workforce management and expense management software and services, one-third of survey respondents rated labor scheduling, overtime control and FMLA/FLSA compliance as their highest workforce management priorities. Yet, more than half of respondents (53 percent) indicated that they did not have an automated system in place for absence, leave, vacation and FMLA tracking.
The workforce management survey findings were gathered from attendees of the American Payroll Association (APA) and Canadian Payroll Association (CPA) conferences held earlier this year. Of the 1,088 respondents, 28 percent work at organizations employing less than 500 people; 11 percent work at organizations with 500 to 1,000 people; 23 percent work at organizations with 1,000 to 5,000 people; 11 percent work at organizations with 5,000 to 10,000 people; and 24 percent work at organizations with more than 10,000 people.
