CardinalCommerce Corporation Granted Patent by the United States Patent and Trademark Office

Latest Patent Addition Strengthens Company's Growing Intellectual Property Portfolio


MENTOR, Ohio, Oct. 19, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CardinalCommerce, the leading enabler of payment brands worldwide, today announced that it has been issued its seventh patent by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

Patent number US 7,797,731 B2, entitled Centralized Identity Authentication for Electronic Communications Networks, issued on September 14, 2010, protects the Company's methods and technologies related to secure informational and transactional exchange using authentication. CardinalCommerce's products and services allow its Customers to securely process transactions or access information using any number of various authenticated payment brands and authentication credentials. The application for the granted patent dates back to March 2000.
