Topdanmark increases its holding of own shares

Topdanmark now holds own shares representing 15.00% of the share capital. Since the announcement of the Q1-Q3 Report for 2010 (announcement No. 16/2010), this is an increase of 5,043 shares in the holding of own shares to 2,563,043shares.

The holding of own shares of 2,563,043 shares has been calculated following the allocation of 83,784 employees shares on 26 November 2010 as reported in announcement No. 18/2010.

At the extraordinary general meeting on 23 November 2010 it was decided to write down the share capital by 1,560,203 shares. After the expiry of the three-month time limit for filing objections at the end of February 2011 the existing holding of own shares will represent 6.46% of the share capital.

To date in 2010 Topdanmark has bought back own shares for DKK 796mof the programme of DKK 1,000m for 2010 previously announced.

Topdanmark's most recent announcement of share buy-back was in its Q1-Q3 2010 Report when it had bought back own shares for DKK 732m.
