NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - December 17, 2010) - BNP Paribas Corporate and Investment Banking is pleased to announce the addition of an Acquisition and Divestiture Group specializing in the sale and acquisition of upstream Oil & Gas assets to its Energy platform. The former employees of AIM Energy Advisors, a Houston based Energy boutique, have joined BNP Paribas. This initiative is fully aligned with BNP Paribas' ongoing commitment to the Energy & Commodity space.
David Marcell and Dane Isenhower join BNP Paribas as managing directors for the A&D Group and are based in Houston. They both report to John Brim, head of Energy & Commodity Corporate Finance North America, who is based in New York and to Jerome Doucet, head of Investment Banking Energy & Commodities Americas & Asia, also based in New York.
David and Dane both have extensive Oil & Gas experience and have each worked in the industry for over 20 years. Prior to AIM, David was a managing director with Tristone Capital (now Macquarie Tristone) and previously held senior positions with Friedman Billings Ramsey and CIBC World Markets. David is a member of the Houston Energy Finance Group and currently serves as the president of the Houston Producers' Forum as well as serving on the IPAA Texas Southeast Regional Board. Dane began his career with Chase and then held senior positions with Waterous & Co. and Tristone Capital. He also served in various engineering capacities with Getty Oil Co.
