The company added significant technology capabilities to its signature WorkLight Mobile Platform, including new smartphone and tablet support, introduced over 15 new partnerships and launched a Developer Zone, which provides complete access to the WorkLight platform for evaluation purposes.

WorkLight experienced record growth, more than doubling its revenue in 2010. The company also doubled its office space moving in new midtown New York headquarters space last year, and increased its employee headcount by 30 percent.
In February, WorkLight released support for Android smartphones, followed by BlackBerry support in August. Last month, the company released a beta version of WorkLight 4.0 providing complete tablet support for iOS and Android devices, enabling combined native and web coding within a single app as well as delivering an extensive range of app development, integration and management capabilities that will be unveiled this month.
In mid-2010, the company introduced the WorkLight Dev Zone for enterprise developers to download a free evaluation version of the platform, along with access to a community forum, training resources, samples and documentation. Hundreds of companies, primarily large enterprises, have joined the WorkLight community to date.
