McLaughlin was born and raised in the Cleveland suburbs and graduated from Kent State University with a B.S. in Fashion Merchandising and Business. Her interest in business and knack for savvy technique came at a young age, driving her career achievements and desire to help people.
Prior to joining McGuire, McLaughlin was the Director of Business Development for North America at Higgins Development Partners in Chicago. Higgins Development Partners delivers comprehensive real estate development services to its wide range of clients in corporate, institutional, and governmental sectors. Since 1980, the company has created over $5 billion in development value across the U.S. and Canada.
Ending her stint in the windy city, McLaughlin relocated to San Francisco in January of 2009. Her experience in real estate and daily cash management for businesses and high-net worth clients carried on until accepting her position as a sales associate at McGuire Real Estate. Not only has McLaughlin's love for San Francisco grown in just a few years, but her intimate knowledge of its neighborhoods has flourished as well.
