Ethos Environmental, Inc. Announces Appointment of Chairman and Director to Board


IRVINE, Calif., Feb. 10, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ethos Environmental, Inc. (Pink Sheets:ETEV), which recently merged with Regeneca International, Inc., has appointed Dr. Francis Chen and Ms. Jan Hall to its Board of Directors. Dr. Chen has been appointed as Chairman of the Board, and Ms. Hall has been appointed as a Director. Dr. Chen and Ms. Hall will join current members, CEO Matt Nicosia, President Adam Vincent Gilmer, and VP of Investor Relations James C. Short on the board.

Dr. Chen is a Co-founder and Chairman of Pacific Advantage International, a marketing and sales support organization that assists U.S. and European information technology companies to establish sales and distribution channels in Asia-Pacific. He is also vice chairman at W.I. Harper, a venture capital firm operating in the U.S., China and Taiwan. He also serves on the board of directors of Solar Power, Inc. (OTCBB:SOPW) and brings over 20 years' management experience in the healthcare industry, having held positions at Becton-Dickinson, Baxter Healthcare and Hygeia Sciences/Tambrands, among others. Dr. Chen earned his Ph.D. in immunology from Harvard University and holds an M.S. and a B.S. in chemistry from Tufts University.

In addition to his responsibilities on the Board of Directors, Dr. Chen also oversees the company's quality control efforts. These positions were held in companies specializing in skin care, personal care, OTC Medicines (Dermatology, Upper Respiratory, Gastro Intestinal, Analgesics, Natural Medicines), nutritionals, and food and beverage. She has worked for some of the best known brands in these industries, such as United Biscuits, Cadbury Schweppes, SmithKline Beecham (now Glaxo SmithKline), The Coca-Cola Company, and as President of Neutrogena Corporation North America (a division of Johnson & Johnson).
