PROVIDENCE, RI--(Marketwire - May 2, 2011) - Laser Research Optics is introducing a new line of CO2 laser mirrors that feature an extremely hard coating to help reduce power loss and enhance laser cutting capabilities.
Laser Research SuperHard Coat Copper Mirrors feature a proprietary hard coating that provides 99.85% avg. reflectivity with a zero phase shift of less than 2 degrees @ 45 degree AOI for use in industrial CO2 lasers up to 10 kW. More durable and scratch-resistant than typical ZnSe based coatings per MIL-C-48497A, these hard coated copper mirrors help reduce power loss for consistently good laser cutting.
Available in plano, convex, or concave configurations in 1-1/2" to 3" O.D. sizes, Laser Research SuperHard Coat Copper Mirrors have a 40-20 scratch-dig surface finish, flatness is λ/20 power, λ/40 irregularity @ 10.6 µm, and parallelism is less than 3 arc-min. They are available for Amada®, Bystronic®, Cincinnati®, Mazak®, Mitsubishi®, Trumpf®, LVD®, and similar lasers.
Laser Research SuperHard Coat Copper Mirrors are priced according to configuration, size, and quantity. Pricing is available upon request.
