Huawei Symantec Unveils Service-Provider-Class Firewall, Supporting an Industry-Leading 4 Million New Connections per Second

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - May 3, 2011) - Interop -- Huawei Symantec, a leading provider of network security and storage solutions, today introduced the Huawei Symantec Secospace™ USG9300, the new leader in firewall and VPN gateway performance with support for 4 million new connections per second, 64 million concurrent connections, and 160Gbps of firewall throughput. The USG9300 is designed to provide large enterprises and service providers with a centrally managed solution for keeping pace with the accelerating growth of DDOS, and peer-to-peer applications such as BitTorrent, which are used for distributing movies and music, as well as Bots, Spyware, Adware, Worms, and other types of malware.
