SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - May 18, 2011) - Returning to the residential real estate roots where she began her career more than 20 years ago, Sherri Pope joins McGuire Real Estate as the Vice President, Sales Manager of its Elmwood and Rockridge offices.
Her introduction to the business came as a Top Producer in the East Bay with Mason-McDuffie -- the firm transitioned to Better Homes and Gardens Mason-McDuffie Real Estate in 2010. She achieved Presidents Club status during her first year of sales, bringing a community passion, wealth of experience, and dedication to "doing the right thing" along with her.
Prior to joining McGuire, she served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Monterey Development Group for nine years. It was there she gained invaluable experience in the marketing and management of luxury home building in California and Nevada. She earned her broker's license in both states, performing as the broker for all sales company-wide, and managing over 2,000 transactions. Sherri has served as the President, Secretary, and/or Treasurer of various home owners associations for multiple residential planned communities.

When Sherri isn't hard at work -- managing entire sales teams, developing strategies and marketing objectives, or dealing with the day-to-day duties of running two offices -- she enjoys relaxing at home in Walnut Creek with her husband Tom Dorsey, also a licensed REALTOR® of 20 years, and three dogs. Her free time is typically spent outdoors gardening, or visiting open houses with Tom on the weekend. An avid animal-lover, Sherri is a proud member of the Humane Society of the United States of America (HSUSA).
