SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - May 19, 2011) - BroadCause, a platform for social good that engages and activates passionate communities around the causes that are most important to them, today launched a week-long campaign to build awareness and raise funds for The Black Eyed Peas Concert 4 NYC on June 9, presented by Chase, to benefit the Robin Hood Foundation. Starting today, BroadCause will give away 100 preferred tickets, valued at $500 each, to the Central Park concert. Visitors who share the campaign via Facebook or Twitter will be automatically entered to win the coveted tickets. To enter for the ticket giveaway or to make a donation, go to www.broadcause.com.
The campaign will be featured on BroadCause.com for one week and will end on May 25, 2011. BroadCause and Robin Hood created the opportunity as a method to extend the event through BroadCause's active communities on Facebook, Twitter and Experience Project.
The free ticketed concert will benefit Robin Hood, which funds and supports innovative poverty-fighting organizations in New York City. Limited tickets are being given away through BroadCause, and a small number of VIP tickets are available for purchase at blackeyedpeas.robinhood.org. All are welcome to contribute by spreading the word and making donations to the foundation at www.robinhood.org.
