SMITH LAKE, AL--(Marketwire - Jun 5, 2011) - At a real estate auction on Smith Lake today, J. P. King Auction Company sold four condos and four lots -- all waterfront -- for $1.19 million. With forty registered bidders from five states, attending from as far away as Texas and Michigan, seller Marty Roberson sold all the offered units at Waterford Condos.
Over 100 people attended the auction event at the Windemere Lots in Bremen, where four lots sold for as high as $74,800. The three-bedroom, two-bath condos were the final available units at Waterford and sold for prices ranging from $225,500 to $247,500.
"The condos were very well received, which was evidenced by strong bidding," said Craig King, president and CEO of J. P. King Auction Company. "Both the lots and the condo units came with great amenities like a boat slip and pool access. Marty has created a beautiful atmosphere and community on both locations."
