IRVINE, CA--(Marketwire - Jun 14, 2011) - Stanbridge College hosted their biannual Allied Health and Vocational Nursing career fair on June 7, 2011. Stanbridge College's Vocational Nursing and Occupational Therapy students were able to network and apply for jobs with over 30 southern California health care organizations. After the Fair, the health care employers worked with the Stanbridge Career Services staff to review student resumes targeted to health care organization applications.
"On behalf of Stanbridge College, I would like to thank the many employers who participated in this event," stated Yasith Weerasuriya, President of Stanbridge College. "It is extremely important that our students are provided the resources that will aid them in navigating their future careers in Nursing and Occupational Therapy. This event provided an excellent setting for students of all levels to meet with future employers and gain advice on how to pursue their career goals."
According to 2011 Stanbridge College LVN graduate, Stephen Geiger, "This career fair was great. There was a diverse group of employers and I probably handed out close to 15 copies of my resume. I am very thankful to Stanbridge College for giving me and all of the students help and support in guiding our careers."
