Green Recycled Rubber Industrial Doors Transformed From Tires Headline the International Door Association (IDA) Expo, WVSN Reports

DETROIT, MI--(Marketwire - Jun 15, 2011) - New green breaking technology has appeared in the market place as recycled rubber high-performance industrial doors, as reported by WVSN Industry Visions Industrial News.

The new Recycled Rubber Green Door transforms mountains of old tires and rubber refuse into high-tech rubber industrial doors. The new prototype made its first appearance at the International Door Association (IDA) Expo earlier this month. The news is being hailed by many environmental experts as the solution of the century for an environmental hazard which seemed impossible to manage. New proprietary technology is being used by TNR Industrial Doors of Barrie, Ontario, Canada to create a high tech-high speed rubber industrial door from rubber refuse.

Cathy Buckingham, CEO of TNR Industrial Doors of Barrie, Ontario, Canada, began her endeavor to develop the technology with associates who were the early inventors of doors made from rubber belts for mining applications in the 1970s. Today TNR uses the recycled rubber technology to craft Green Door solutions in a wide variety of commercial and industrial applications and sizes.

When asked about green industrial applications, Cathy Buckingham commented, "I'm very proud to say our doors represent an important solution to an environmental problem, and even more exciting, our high-performance doors are leading the way to green and sustainable energy savings in industrial plants all over the world.

"The amazing capabilities of rubber doors offer new freedoms to the heavy industrial processing industries in so many ways beyond energy efficiency. Rubber doors are indestructible, unlike steel doors that are mangled after a collision with a fork truck; our door simply bounces back. In addition, our doors have incredible thermal performance. Unlike overhead steel doors that are built with rigid horizontal panels that allow air to move through gaps and along the edges, our Recycled Rubber Green Door has no seams, so the harder the wind blows against it the tighter the seal to the building. Perhaps the most important feature of our doors, in addition to flexibility and energy efficiency, is speed.

"These doors are fast; fast open, fast close. That's important for eliminating production bottlenecks, and faster plant production. How many times in cold weather do we hear a cry from a plant worker, 'Hurry up and close the door; it's cold in here!' With high-speed, high-performance rubber doors everyone's environment improves, from the world ecology to worker comfort. It's amazing to think what a huge problem all those tires were and how they are now part of a green solution with TNR's High Performance Recycled Rubber Green Door Line."

The Recycled Rubber Green Door from TNR Industrial Doors was recently featured on The Open Door Show produced by The International Door Association.
