FORT LAUDERDALE, FL--(Marketwire - Jul 7, 2011) - Readers who savor the good life in South Florida turn to City & Shore Magazine. After more than a decade showcasing all things fabulous, the upscale lifestyle magazine recently announced exciting changes, including a new team to drive the successful publication into the future.
Leading the group, City & Shore Editor Mark Gauert adds Publisher to his role and will now oversee news and lifestyle content, as well as design and layout. Gauert, Editor since the magazine's inception, has played a critical role in the publication's growth and recognition in the community. "City & Shore celebrated its 10th anniversary this year," Gauert said. Teaming up with Gauert is Lori Jacoby, who fills the newly-created position of Associate Publisher. Jacoby was most recently Associate Publisher for Florida Trend, the state's leading business magazine. She will oversee advertising sales and business development for City & Shore and its family of products, including hotel publications and City & Shore Home magazine. Jacoby has extensive publishing experience, beginning with a 10-year stint at Sun Sentinel.

Sun Sentinel Local Sales Rep Valerie Chocron, recognized for her excellent customer service and key contributions to City & Shore, also brings her talents to the magazine as Account Executive and forms a dynamic sales duo alongside Svekis.
"With our new team in place, we will continue to meet or exceed the expectations of our advertisers and readers by providing a sophisticated and celebrated lifestyle magazine for the South Florida community," said Sun Sentinel President, Publisher & CEO and WSFL-TV General Manager Howard Greenberg.
