NewMarket Subsidiary RKM Announces $2 M Microsoft Agreement Renewal With Movistar, a Division of Telefonica

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - Jul 14, 2011) - NewMarket Technology, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: NWMT) (OTCQB: NWMT) today announced the Company's South American subsidiary, RKM Suministros S.A. (www.rkmve.com), has renewed its Microsoft License agreement with their client, Movistar (http://www.movistar.com.ve/), in Latin America. Movistar is a division of Telefonica, S. A., a major telecommunications provider in Europe and Latin America. The agreement renewal is for one year, started in May 2011 and is valued at US$ 1.99 million.

Yesterday, RKM was recognized at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California as the 2011 Microsoft Country Partner of the Year for Venezuela at the 2011 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference, currently underway this week in Los Angeles (http://bit.ly/RKMaward).
