(Pink Sheets:EGAM), hard at work on a highly anticipated upcoming social game, today announced that Owen Kellett has joined the team as Senior Game Server Engineer. Today's announcement comes on the heels of engaging Mark Goodman, one of the five original MTV VJs and popular broadcaster on SiriusXM Radio, as Music Supervisor for the project.
Kellett's background includes a five year stint at Sun Microsystems, including two years in Sun Labs working on Project Darkstar, an open-source scalable application server for interactive applications such as online games and virtual worlds. Most recently, Kellett was Lead Server Engineer on Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? for Facebook.
Kellett joins a uniquely qualified engineering team that has been assembled under the direction of game industry veterans Gene Mauro, President and Chief Operating Officer of eGames, and Jeff Kesselman, Chief Technology Officer.
