CORRECTING AND REPLACING -- Vendor Resource Management Offering REO Training at the 2011 Five Star Default Servicing Conference and Expo

CARROLLTON, Texas, Sept. 8, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- In a press release issued yesterday with the same headline by Vendor Resource Management, please note that there were multiple inaccuracies. The full, corrected release follows:

Attendees of the 2011 Five Star Default Servicing Conference and Expo can take advantage of innovative REO training offered by Vendor Resource Management through its VRM University on September 14-15 at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, TX.

The REO Five Star Conference is the largest event in mortgage servicing and attracts real estate professionals from around the nation.   Keynote Speakers at this year's conference will be former President of the United States, George W. Bush and former Mayor of New York City, Rudy Giuliani.

Because banks are struggling to maintain and sell the current glut of REO housing inventory, and real estate firms are either languishing or shutting down, the comprehensive training offered by VRM University is vital for today's real estate professional.  The VRMU certification course, now eligible for 12 MCE credits from the Texas Real Estate Commission, equips real estate professionals to value, market and sell REO properties quickly.

Through VRM University, real estate professionals can position themselves to serve as expert REO specialists and qualified solution providers who can competently assist buyers, sellers and communities in navigating the current housing landscape. Training is provided by veteran real estate practitioners, including Keller Williams' # 1 sales agent, Leonardo Pareja, who offer decades of experience in the REO industry. Attendees will be exposed to great new marketing techniques and will learn how to leverage online tools and technology for maximum results. By attending VRMU Real estate professionals will also discover the importance of industry news and how it applies to their local offices.

As a lead in to VRMU's certification classes, InMotion, VRM's nationwide diversity campaign aimed at recruiting and providing business opportunities to minority and underutilized real estate professionals, will host a "Meet and Greet" on September 13th in the Miro Room at the Dallas Hilton Anatole. To register for the InMotion event or VRM University, please go to www.training@vrmco.com. You can also register for the class at booth 201 in the Conference exhibit hall.
