Tollgrade Announces Manoj Sindhwani as Vice President Engineering


PITTSBURGH, Oct. 12, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Tollgrade Communications, Inc., a leading supplier of smart grid and telecommunications products and solutions, today announced that experienced smart grid and telecom technology executive Manoj Sindhwani joined the company as Vice President of Engineering. Sindhwani, a 25 year industry veteran and thought leader, will be responsible for managing Tollgrade's worldwide engineering and R&D efforts.

Most recently, Manoj served as Vice President of Engineering at EnergyHub, a New York based smart grid company that, under his leadership, deployed a suite of home energy management products. Prior to EnergyHub, Manoj was Vice President of Engineering at Xtone Networks, responsible for the development of a distributed platform of voice applications and cloud-based servers to deliver interactive voice services over the web. Manoj has also held senior engineering leadership positions at companies including Texas Instruments, Telogy Networks and Lucent Technologies. 

Mr. Sindhwani brings a variety of software, hardware, and embedded systems experience from his 25 years of developing smart grid, telephony and networking products. He has successfully managed both start-ups and large geographically diverse engineering teams. In addition to his management leadership, Manoj has been awarded 8 patents with 25 additional patents pending.
