NJBIZ Honors New Jersey’s Top Businesses and Business Leaders

 Legacy Converting, Inc. has been selected as a finalist in the Business of the Year 1 - 50 Employees category in the2011 Business of the Year awards program. The award program, produced by NJBIZ, New Jersey’s premiere business news publication, is presented by EisnerAmper, LLP and sponsored by Sun National Bank, K&L Gates and CIGNA.

The Business of the Year awards program celebrates New Jersey’s most dynamic businesses and business leaders who share a commitment to professional excellence, business growth and the community.   Finalists were selected in six categories: Business of the Year (1-50 Employees), Business of the Year (51-100 Employees), Business of the Year (100+ Employees), Corporate Citizen of the Year, Executive of the Year and Emerging Business of the Year.

 Finalists and winners were chosen by an independent panel of judges including: Jerry Creighton, New Jersey Institute of Technology; Professor David Finegold, Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations; Debbie Hart, BioNJ; Tim Lizura, New Jersey Economic Development Authority and Joan Praiss, New Jersey Technology Council.

 In addition to the category honorees, the judging panel chose three separate individuals to be inducted into the NJBIZ Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame award recognizes individuals who have a sustained commitment to New Jersey businesses and communities and who continue to be a pillar of support to the region. This year’s honorees are Sol Barer, Celgene; Marjorie Perry, MZM Construction & Management Co., Inc. and Phillip Politziner, EisnerAmper, LLP.

The Business of the Year Hall of Fame inductees will be honored, award finalists will be recognized and the winners in each category will be announced during a formal awards dinner on December 5, 2011 at the Palace at Somerset Park in Somerset, NJ.
