NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Oct 24, 2011) - Matt Britton, CEO and Founder of social marketing agency Mr Youth (www.mryouth.com), today announced the appointment of Christian Borges to the newly created position of Vice President of Marketing Communications. Based in New York and reporting directly to Britton, Borges is responsible for driving overall corporate marketing strategy and communications initiatives for Mr Youth.

Borges brings more than 15 years of communications and experiential marketing expertise to his post. Most recently, he served as Vice President, Digital Communications and Publicity for Deep Focus. There, he oversaw the agency's communications department, which was responsible for developing social media strategies for clients such as Microsoft (Windows Phone), Pepsi and Samsung Mobile. He also oversaw corporate communications for Deep Focus, managing all communications efforts for the agency. Previously, he held senior-level roles at PR firms such as 5WPR and Fleishman-Hillard.
