TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 27, 2011) - Grid Loyalty announces its first major partnership with Las Vegas chain Terrible Herbst, providing Grid Members access to loyalty-based acquisition programs at select Terrible's locations. Drivers in Las Vegas can now become a Grid Loyalty member at select Terrible's locations in Las Vegas and southern Nevada, or by registering online.
"With GRID, Las Vegas area drivers can now get more from one of their most dependable partners, as well as access to the other Grid services, which deliver premium in-vehicle safety and concierge services for free," said John Reynolds, President of Grid Loyalty Group Inc. "Being able to work with Terrible's to ensure their customers have access to Grid services is a big vote of confidence for Grid and our developing network."
Grid Loyalty is a free membership program that brings roadside assistance, concierge services, customized location-based offers and access to popular pay-as-you-drive insurance quotes to consumers owning a vehicle manufactured in 1996 or later – for free.
Members collect GRID Miles that can be redeemed for discounts and promotional offerings from participating local, regional and national partners focused on driving and mobility. Customized location-based promotions may be offered to members for vehicle service, maintenance, emergency road services, quick service restaurants, coffee chains, accommodations, entertainment, travel, and select retailers – all tailored to each unique GRID member.
The partnership with Terrible's will mean ongoing loyalty benefits for Grid Loyalty members, with a $10 Terrible's/Chevron gas card upon becoming a Member as an initial incentive.
Grid Ambassadors will be talking to consumers who are using Terrible's services starting today at locations "a" and "b" and all locations from Thursday to Sunday next week from 2pm to 6pm:
- Chevron - 4070 S Arville, Las Vegas, NV
- Chevron - 2601 Wigwam Pkwy, Henderson, NV
- Chevron - 10890 W Charleston, Las Vegas, NV
- Chevron - 3370 Novat Street, Las Vegas, NV
There are no registration or monthly fees to get on the GRID. To join, members need an email address and cell phone, and a 1996 or newer vehicle. Following on-line registration, they simply plug the GRID chip, a small device with a GPS beacon and transmitter just like the one used in smart phones, into their car's on-board diagnostic, or "OBD." Plug, play – and you're on your way to, Safety / Security / Savings™.
