LANGHORNE, Pa., Nov. 10, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Social and casual game developer and publisher Entertainment Games, Inc. (OTC Pink:EGAM) today announced NBC 10 ran a TV Segment covering its exciting new social game, Retro World™.
Entertainment Games launched Retro World on Facebook on November 8th, 2011. Retro World is a new adventure game geared to the 40 plus crowd. Players will be challenged to complete tasks while meeting characters played by real life stars such as Dick Clark and Elvis Presley. Entertainment Games has plans to add more stars in the future.
"We have created Retro World to take people back to a point in time where they enjoyed good times, fun times, a time we refer to commonly as their Heyday. When you play the game, you are going to discover it is going to be TV like, it is going to have that cliff hanger approach, so when one episode ends it is going to bring you back to the next episode," said Jerry Klein, CEO of Entertainment Games. The plan is to update the game with a new storyline each month. The game is free to play, but players will have the opportunity to purchase virtual goods.
