NEW YORK, Nov. 29, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Iluka Resources Ltd. will be added to the Dow Jones Australia Titans 30 Index, Dow Jones Indexes, a leading global index provider, announced today.
The addition of Iluka Resources (ASX:ILU) follows the removal of Foster's Group Ltd. (ASX:FGL), which is in the process of being acquired by SABMiller PLC (LSE:SAB).
Iluka Resources is involved in the exploration, project development, operation and marketing of mineral sands products. It is the world's largest producer of zircon and second-largest producer of titanium dioxide minerals.
The changes in the Dow Jones Australia Titans 30 Index will be effective before the open of trading on Friday, December 2, 2011.
The Dow Jones Australia Titans 30 Index measures the stock performance of 30 of the largest and most liquid stocks traded in Australia.
