BURLINGTON, MA--(Marketwire - Dec 6, 2011) - Veteran human resources experts at Genesis Consolidated Services have today announced their strong support for the Small Business Efficiency Act of 2011, which is now being considered in the Congress. The bill, which enjoys bipartisan support, seeks to provide support for the nation's small businesses at a time when their vitality and health are critical to America's economic wellbeing.
The Small Business Efficiency Act of 2011 (H.R. 2466, S. 1908) is a vehicle to provide administrative relief through the enactment of a federal safe harbor provision that would allow businesses to partner with certified Professional Employer Organizations ("PEOs"). "In an effort to help small businesses become more efficient and competitive, Members of Congress on both sides of the aisle have joined together to bring this bill forward. PEO partnerships provide streamlined Human Resource administration, reduced overhead, and robust employee benefits, while allowing business owners to focus on their core competencies," said Genesis President Bob Burbidge.
