McNamara as a Senior Manager within the company's Healthcare Information Technology (IT) Division. Ms. McNamara's experience in the planning, development, and implementation of healthcare IT applications and solutions provides her with the skills necessary to perform a wide range of healthcare IT management assignments and further enhances ECG's strategic IT capabilities and understanding of the challenges faced across the broader healthcare provider enterprise.

Ms. McNamara will be working on a wide array of projects, including program and project management, IT change management and process improvement, systems planning and design, data center operations management, and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) service-oriented management.
Ms. McNamara joins ECG with over 20 years of IT experience in program and project management and system integration. For the last 8 years she has focused on complex, multidiscipline, multi-vendor hospital IT projects, including CPOE and pharmacy system implementation, medication administration technology, system integration and interfacing with ancillary departments, clinical research and claims data repository design and implementation, and patient identification and mobile health initiatives. Ms. McNamara has also implemented IT operational and system usability improvements utilizing industry performance measures and indicators. Her leadership style is based on collaboration with users, effective organizational skills, the ability to identify and resolve complex issues that enable process improvement, and a keen understanding of the integration requirements of multiple and diverse hospital systems. Her strong technical background and proven critical thinking skills enable her to bridge the gap between healthcare delivery and technical solutions.
Ms. McNamara is a member of HIMSS and participated in the 2010/2011 HIMSS Principles and Call for Action Work Group, which summarized the society's top policy priorities for Congress. She is also a member of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) and has presented at the unSUMMIT, a forum focusing on bar code point-of-care technology.
Ms. McNamara has a bachelor of science degree in statistics and decision information sciences and a master of science degree in healthcare administration from the University of Maryland.
