CONSHOHOCKEN, PA--(Marketwire - Jan 3, 2012) - AlliedBarton Security Services, www.alliedbarton.com, the industry's premier provider of highly trained security personnel, will team up with the Employer Partnership of the Armed Forces to represent the Army Reserve during the week preceding the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, January 3 through January 7, 2012, in San Antonio, TX. Alan Stein, AlliedBarton's Vice President of Marketing & Sales Services, along with a group of about 100 Centers of Influence employers, will help create strategies to assist in transitioning our nation's veterans into civilian jobs.
Stein was selected out of 15 COIs representing the EPAF to participate in an employer panel discussing the benefits of hiring army reservists and veterans and partnering with military organizations. He will also participate in other activities throughout the week including a visit to Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston, TX, to speak with severely injured wounded warriors. Stein will also have the opportunity to interact with some of the Army's highest ranked generals and officials to provide feedback on hiring military personnel for civilian careers.
"This will be an experience of a lifetime," said Stein. "I am happy to be part of this group and to help our returning veterans transition into civilian careers. This is also an opportunity to share AlliedBarton's military hiring message and experiences to help other organizations with their hiring efforts. AlliedBarton's partnership with EPAF has connected us to hundreds of well-qualified military candidates and they've been a true partner in the success of our military hiring program."
EPAF provides a means for civilian sector employers to hire the skill-rich work force pool of military reservists, guardsmen and veterans. The program features a state-of-the-art career portal, www.EmployerPartnership.org, as well as staff in the field dedicated to assisting both job seekers and employers. EPAF is primarily underwritten by the Army Reserve and is free of charge for employers and service members. AlliedBarton has been an EPAF employer partner since October of 2010.
AlliedBarton is proud to support our nation's military personnel as they develop civilian careers. The security services industry is an ideal field for transitioning veterans and reservists, and their spouses, and AlliedBarton is honored to employ those who have dedicated themselves to protecting our freedom.
