Dresner Partners Names Mitchell Stern Managing Director, Healthcare Investment Banking

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - Jan 4, 2012) - Dresner Partners announced today that it has named Mitchell Stern as Managing Director, Healthcare Investment Banking. Mr. Stern will be responsible for expanding Dresner's healthcare and medtech practice. He will be located in New York City.

Prior to joining Dresner Partners, Mr. Stern was a Managing Director in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group at New York-based Morgan Joseph TriArtisan LLC, where his primary role was capital raising and merger & acquisition (M&A) transaction management in the healthcare industry.

Mr. Stern began his 20-year investment banking career at Salomon Brothers in New York, and held senior positions with Schroder & Co., Needham & Company, Glocap Advisors and SMH Capital. Mr. Stern also was a C.P.A. with Deloitte & Touche and Ernst & Whinney.

Mr. Stern holds an M.B.A. in Finance from New York University and a B.A. in Accounting from Franklin & Marshall College.
