About Jesse Feldman
Jesse joined Battery's Waltham office in 2005 and focuses on growth equity and buyout investments in the software and industrial technology markets. He is currently on the boards of IST, Detcon and Gas Measurement Instruments (GMI), as well as HighJump Software and Rogue Wave Software. Jesse was on the board of Healthvision before its acquisition by Lawson Software. Prior to Battery, he worked on a range of private equity transactions and specialized in early-stage transportation and logistics technology investments with Ionian Management.
"Jesse is a great partner in our quest to build a comprehensive industrial safety platform worldwide," said Adam Markin, former Executive in Residence at Battery and now CEO of IST. "He is financially astute and able to evaluate a business on the most granular level, while maintaining the vision that guides our big picture strategy. Together, we have executed a number of complex transactions in a very short period of time, combining Renfrew, Scotland-based Gas Measurement Instruments, a leader in portable gas detection products, with Houston-based Detcon, a leader in fixed gas detection. Both companies achieved excellent revenue growth in 2011 and serve a worldwide customer base with a broad set of superior products. He has made an amazing contribution to IST to-date, and I know he will continue to be a key factor in Battery's ongoing success."

"He's typically one step ahead, helping us foresee challenges before they become issues. In the nearly two years since launching H.BLOOM, I've had multiple occasions to say that the tactics we are implementing today are based on an idea Brian had suggested months ago. I congratulate him on his new role and am excited to continue working with him in this next chapter of his career."
During his eight year tenure, Brian originated or led investments in Bazaarvoice, Coupa, H.BLOOM, Insitu (acquired by Boeing), J.
