GOLDEN VALLEY, MN--(Marketwire - Feb 17, 2012) - Baseline screenings are an important tool when it comes to diagnosing the severity of a concussion or traumatic brain injury (TBI). Health Fair 11 is offering free Baseline screenings during the upcoming state tournaments for girls hockey, boys hockey, and wrestling.
Screenings will take place at the Science Museum of Minnesota's computer labs from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. each day. Screening dates are:
- Thursday, Feb. 23 - Saturday, Feb. 25
- Thursday, March 1 - Saturday, March 3
- Thursday, March 8 - Saturday, March 10
The tests will utilize the ImPACT testing software, and are approved for anyone age ten and older. Certified representatives with North Memorial Health Care will administer the screenings.
