SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - Feb 21, 2012) - Sharpe Mixers manufactures a full line of impellers that are designed with blades to match customer mixing requirements and feature a design similar to that of an airplane wing which optimizes fluid flow.
Sharpe HYFLO Impellers provide a four-blade design that is reportedly 10% more efficient than a three-blade design and runs with greater stability. Featuring impeller geometries which are matched to customer mixing speed and application requirements, these hydrofoil mixer blades are welded to the hub, in a one-piece or split-hub arrangement, which keeps the top of the impeller clean to optimize flow and mixing efficiency.
Providing high blade strength and reliability by gusseting the impeller rather than increasing blade thickness, Sharpe HYFLO Impellers have been tested through CFD modeling against a number of leading hydrofoil impeller designs and have consistently provided the most flow for the least power, claims the firm. Sizes range from 3" to 210" dia. and these impellers can be manufactured from 316SS, titanium, and other alloys.
Sharpe HYFLO Impellers are priced according to material, size, and quantity. Price quotations are available upon request.
