MADISON, Wis., March 8, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- WECC, a national leader in the design and implementation of award-winning energy savings programs, was honored with two ADDY Awards at the recent American Advertising Federation-Madison ADDY Awards Show for its annual report and recently updated tradeshow booth.
WECC's 2010-2011 Annual Report received a Silver ADDY in the Collateral Marketing category. The report set the foundation for a new and refreshing creative direction for WECC. It is more visual in nature and features engaging copy that effectively tells WECC's story.
WECC's tradeshow booth received a Silver ADDY in the Sales Promotion category. The booth follows today's best practices for booth design, was unveiled at an event in November 2011, and continues to capture event attendees' attention at industry shows.
"We are honored to be recognized with these prestigious awards for some of our recent marketing efforts," said Mary Schlaefer, WECC President and CEO. "The projects were exciting for our communications team to work on and demonstrate the top-quality creative and marketing strategy intelligence WECC has. Not only can this expertise be seen in our own corporate communications efforts, but more importantly, we bring this expertise to the energy efficiency program marketing work we do for our clients across the Midwest—many of which have also received prestigious awards in years past."
WECC's menu of services include residential and commercial energy efficiency and renewable energy program design, administration, and implementation; technical training and certification; energy efficiency financing; trade ally recruitment, engagement, and education; and energy-related marketing and communications. Their existing clients span over 18 states and include some of the nation's largest investor-owned utilities, municipal and cooperative utilities, governmental agencies, and other energy services providers.
"Our goal is to continue providing superior services to our clients, which includes developing and delivering effective, eye-catching marketing campaigns," said Schlaefer. "Having our projects recognized by the leaders of a very competitive advertising industry is a great privilege."
