LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - Mar 12, 2012) - To date, the AGEM/AGA Golf Classic Presented by JCM Global has raised nearly $950,000 in support of the National Center for Responsible Gaming. Now, organizers are announcing the 14th annual event, the "Drive for $1 Million."
This year's Golf Classic takes place May 1 on the award-winning greens of Cascata in Boulder City, Nevada. In addition to a day on the incredibly beautiful course, participants will have an opportunity to play in the "Drive for $1 Million Shoot-Out," where a hole-in-one awards $1,000,000 in cash.
The "$20,000 Three-Putt Challenge" gives players a chance to sink three putts and win $20,000. There are also two hole-in-one chances to win a new car. Raffles and a BBQ complete the day's events.
"We are a short putt away from reaching an incredible milestone of raising $1 million for the NCRG's vitally important work. We invite the entire industry -- suppliers, operators and affiliate vendors -- to join us in our 'Drive for $1 Million,' and put us over the top," said event producer Tom Nieman, VP of Marketing for JCM Global.
Registration is open now and is limited to the first 128 participants. Green fee is $600 per person or $2,000 for a foursome. Registration and sponsorship information is available by calling (702) 651-0000 or by visiting golf.jcmglobal.com.
Sponsored by the AGEM and the AGA, the AGEM/AGA Golf Classic Presented by JCM Global is a fundraiser for NCRG, the only national nonprofit organization dedicated to funding research on gambling disorders and increasing awareness about responsible gaming.
