In this position, Amat is responsible for the accounting, financial planning and analysis, strategic sourcing, and treasury functions for Remedi.

Prior to joining Remedi, Amat served as the executive vice president and chief financial officer of Connecticut-based pharmaceutical service company Aptuit, Inc., where he was responsible for all global finance and IT functions. Prior to Aptuit, he served as the chief financial officer for Sodexho, Inc., a publicly traded hospitality service provider to healthcare and other industries. Amat held senior positions with Sanofi-Aventis and Aventis CropScience North America, as well as with companies based in France. Amat received his MBA from Northeastern University in Boston and earned his M.S. in accounting from Reims Management School, in Reims, France.
