Rubicon Bolsters Data Center Design With Veteran Promotion

HERNDON, VA--(Marketwire - Mar 15, 2012) - Rubicon Professional Services, a leading national provider of full-service energy management, data center design, engineering, and construction management for mission-critical facilities, today announced that Morris O'Riordan has been promoted to the company's VP of National Construction Services. In his new position, O'Riordan will enhance Rubicon's construction and project management expertise in the areas of technical, physical, financial, and energy services concerns. Previously, he served as Rubicon's Senior Project Manager for the Midwest Region.

With nearly two decades of construction and project management experience as a senior project manager, O'Riordan has been involved for the past nine years working on data center projects, electrical utility infrastructure, MEP infrastructure, and mission critical facilities. O'Riordan brings in-depth knowledge on all aspects of construction include construction management projects -- from the ground up -- on buildings, theatres, conference centers, interior build outs, retail shops, and healthcare organizations. In his new Rubicon position, O'Riordan will be responsible for all aspects of project management including design/planning, budgeting, value engineering, scheduling, and general construction.

His project management experience includes those for Qwest/Centurylink, Telx, US Navy, University of Chicago, and Digital Realty Trust among others. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on construction management from Utah State University.
