Sparks, Maryland, April 10, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Revelytix announces the release of knoodl 3.0. This release includes many improvements in the security framework required to satisfy the stringent security requirement of the U.S. Department of Defense. Additional functionality includes a Google gadget container based on Shindig and the Open Social API.
A design interface has been incorporated, making it easy for knoodl users to create dashboards for visualizing the results of SPARQL queries. All knoodl gadgets comply with the Google container specification. While several data visualization gadgets are included with this release, developers can easily build their own gadgets or use 3rd party Google gadgets. All gadgets are managed within knoodl's container.
This 3.0 release includes a SPARQL endpoint registry, allowing RDF data sources to be easily located and wired up to queries.
With the addition of the Google gadget container and knoodl's base functionality as a SPARQL query designer and an OWL/RDF editor, knoodl is now an end-to-end data management solution based on W3C semantic technology standards. Paired with Spinner and Spyder, knoodl provides a complete RDF-based integration and analytic platform operating over vastly distributed data with ease and scale.
