Bearingstar Insurance Agency Named One of Connecticut's Best Places to Work for Second Consecutive Year

AVON, CT--(Marketwire - Apr 11, 2012) - Bearingstar Insurance Agency, a member of the Arbella Insurance Group, was recently named one of the Best Places to Work in Connecticut 2012. This is the second consecutive year the company has received the award, which was created by the Hartford Business Journal and Best Companies Group to honor companies that rank highest in employee satisfaction and that benefit the state's economy, its workforce and businesses.

The awards program consists of two parts: Evaluating each company's workplace policies, practices and demographics (worth 25 percent of the total score) and measuring employee experience using a detailed, 72-question survey (worth 75 percent of the total score). The combined scores are used to determine the top companies and the final rankings.
