Rimoldi has utilized the innovative Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) technique as well as cognitive behavioral therapy and bereavement therapy to assist veterans in healthier management of post-traumatic stress. He has sought out and is a proponent of the creative use of technology such as a texting messaging to provide high-risk veterans with a higher standard of care.
Shaffer is President of Behavioral Health Management Solutions, LLC, a consulting team that supports organizations in their efforts to deliver and manage effective and efficient mental illness and substance use disorder care. Prior to this he served as the Vice President of Behavioral Health Programs, Design and Research at Health Net Federal Services and as Chief Medical Officer of MHN, A Health Net Company. In those roles he was responsible for the clinical development of behavioral health programs for the military.
