DEWALT(r) Launches New Line of Professional-Grade Ladders, Scaffolds, Working Platforms and Accessories

LAS VEGAS, May 1, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Today, DEWALT announces the launch of its new line of professional-grade ladders, scaffolds, working platforms and accessories. The new DEWALT climbing line includes 13 different products and offers the performance and versatility that everyday professionals need to tackle nearly any climbing task on any jobsite.

Among the new DEWALT ladders is the flagship DXL3810 stepladder. The DXL3810 features wrap-around internal spreaders, non-marring slip-resistant shoes, a heavy-duty metal top with convenient tool slots, and an innovative impact absorption system, which helps prevent damage and extend the life of the ladder. The combination of all of these features enables the DXL3810 to safely support loads up of to 500 pounds.

With 25% more tread surface area than any other stepladder on the market, DEWALT's new stepladders offer increased traction and reduce foot fatigue to improve worker productivity.

All of the new products were designed and engineered in partnership with climbing industry leader, Louisville Ladder.
