BURLINGTON, MA--(Marketwire - May 8, 2012) - DNV KEMA Energy & Sustainability today announced that its KEMA Smart Grid Interop Lab (SGIL) is offering a membership program that enhances how industry participants can economically test products for smart grid integration, compliance, and risk, while collaborating with other members to drive rich interoperability solutions and expand market visibility. Information on DNV KEMA's testing and consulting services will be on display at IEEE PES T&D 2012 in Orlando, Florida, May 7-9, booth #1549.
Open to all utilities and associated technology vendors, the program gives members exclusive access to the SGIL without the costs and effort associated with building or updating their own dedicated labs. SGIL membership meets the technical and business needs of participants, and it fosters mutually beneficial partnerships among the lab members. Membership also encourages thought leadership and collaboration on customer projects for testing and validation.

Membership approval is subject to the participant's ability to meet the minimal requirements for product deployment and support in the lab.
