Trigon Agri A/S will be added to the OMX Stockholm Benchmark index with effect
from June 1, 2012. This implies that index funds tracking the index will have
the possibility to add Trigon Agri shares to their portfolio.
Trigon Agri is one of eleven companies that will be added to the OMX Stockholm
Benchmark index from June 1, 2012. This follows from the semi-annual review and
rebalancing of the index presented by the NASDAQ OMX Group.
The OMX Stockholm Benchmark index serves as an indicator of the overall trend on
NASDAQ OMX Stockholm and can be fully replicated by investors, for example index
funds.
Index funds that buy shares of each company in the index according to its
relative weight in the index, will start buying Trigon Agri shares on market
close today, May 31.
The OMX Stockholm Benchmark index consists of the 71 largest and most traded
stocks, representing all ten industries of the Industry Classification Benchmark
(ICB). Trigon Agri is the only agriculture company included in the OMX Stockholm
Benchmark index.
