IRVINE, CA--(Marketwire - Jun 7, 2012) - YouMail, a leading provider of cloud-based enhanced telecommunication services, today announced that 75 million unique users have now interacted with the YouMail service at least once -- more than one-third of the U.S. adult population (206.8 million) and about a quarter of the country's total population (313.5 million).
These users have participated in numerous unique aspects of the YouMail experience, including:
- Hearing a "smart greeting" that uniquely greets them by name when they call, or hearing one of nearly 25 million "personal greetings" that were created just for them.
- Hearing "This number is out of service," (or another similar greeting) and then not being able to leave a message. YouMail has ditched nearly 10 million callers so far.
- Getting a voicemail receipt, which provides a caller with a copy of the message they left (that they can play with a single-click), a brief personalized message, and a look at how their caller ID appeared, which they can then edit and improve. YouMail has already sent over 10 million receipts, which lets callers know their voicemail hasn't just gone into a black hole, a feature that has proved popular with both those leaving and receiving messages.
- Seeing and/or playing a voicemail or missed call that has been shared with them through Twitter, Facebook, or even by e-mail or text message.
