In its new Mother and Child Health Care Center and Hospital initiative KDAB will build a 50-bed hospital for women and children in the Kurigram District. At the moment, patients must travel over two hours to reach the nearest medical facilities. The hospital will provide general treatment, surgical treatment, emergency care, diagnostics and ambulance services. Expert doctors and nurses will staff the hospital, which will include a residential facility and 24-hour access for patients.
