SAN RAMON, CA--(Marketwire - Jun 25, 2012) - Avatier Corp., a leading identity and access risk management solutions provider, has already made 2012 a stellar year, characterized by strong growth, a list of new customers, product innovations and two new overseas offices. Forecasts indicate the company is poised to continue this momentum through the rest of 2012.
Revenue Up Over 2011
The company has seen an impressive increase in revenue so far this year. In the first four months of 2012, Avatier's revenue was up by 19 percent (as compared with the same period a year ago). Growth in the face of a still-recovering economy, points to the importance companies are placing on identity and access risk management solutions that are swift to implement.
Avatier also added four new customers from a variety of industries to its roster this past quarter.
- Optus, Australia's leading mobile communications, mobile technology and broadband entertainment services company
- Welch Food, Inc., a subsidiary of the National Grape Cooperative and producer of the Welch's brand grape and white grape juices and jellies.
- Flight Safety International, the world's leading aviation training company
- ZELTIQ® Aesthetics, Inc., a leading medical technology company
Avatier Suite 9.0 Announced
In the first quarter of 2012, Avatier released version 9.0 of its Identity and Access Risk Management (ARM) suite. The new release features increased performance, security and scalability. It has already supported the concurrent logon of more than 50,000 users with less than a five-second delay, and is optimized for use with up to 1 million identities and nearly as many groups. Twenty-five percent of Avatier users have already upgraded to the new version.
Overseas Offices
Avatier continues to advance its global footprint with further expansion overseas. The company has opened two new offices, located in Germany and Australia. With interest from regional resellers fueling business development opportunities in these locations, the new offices will house sales and support personnel.
"I am extremely pleased with the company's momentum in just the first four months of the year," said Nelson Cicchitto, chairman and CEO of Avatier. "We are finding that companies have had difficulties with the installation and performance of their systems. Our customers are up and running faster, with greater operational efficiencies than they have experienced in the past and that has led to deeper penetration of accounts, new accounts and a great pipeline."
