DeCarlo, naturalist, interior designer and principal of Urban Designs, LLC of East Aurora, NY, a design studio that creates inspired furniture and interior design elements out of reclaimed wood, metal, glass and industrial/architectural salvage, is sending out a "Call of the Wild" to all business owners in WNY to support Hawk Creek Wildlife Center in East Aurora, NY. Lisa has held several fundraisers for Hawk Creek and recently joined the Hawk Creek Board of Directors.
"Planet Earth is our home and we need to take care of it just like we take care of our houses. Animals are the children of the Earth and we need to care for them just as we would take care of our own children. Therefore, I am sending out a plea to all concerned business leaders to help save our home and the children in our home by helping Hawk Creek Wildlife Refuge," says Ms. DeCarlo.
Hawk Creek Wildlife Refuge is a volunteer driven organization and is funded by private donations and program fees. It does not receive any state or federal funds. As an environmental organization composed of educators, conservationists and rehabilitationists, Hawk Creek serves over 500 animal patients each year.
