CHICAGO and PHILADELPHIA, July 10, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- kCura, developers of the e-discovery software Relativity, today announced that Ballard Spahr LLP has purchased a license to install Relativity in-house.
As a fully featured, web-based e-discovery platform, Relativity will allow Ballard Spahr's attorneys to be flexible in their approach to each case. By creating and automating custom workflows in Relativity, Ballard Spahr can help their review teams get to work faster.
"Our firm has a wide range of practice groups, and all of our clients have different needs," said Caroline Pollard, litigation support coordinator for Ballard Spahr. "Relativity will help us build custom workflows so we can meet the needs of each case in a smart and cost-effective way."
Ballard Spahr will make use of a complete set of text analytics and computer-assisted review capabilities in Relativity. Phil Yannella, partner at Ballard Spahr, said the team looks forward to using analytics technology across the firm's varied practice groups.
"We can use Relativity Assisted Review to efficiently locate relevant documents and understand each case more quickly. Having this insight means we can provide better results for our clients by focusing our attention on relevant documents from the beginning of a case," said Yannella.
"We are excited that Ballard Spahr chose Relativity," said Andrew Sieja, president and CEO of kCura. "We look forward to helping them serve their diverse client base through the use of technology and workflow like computer-assisted review."
