Reference is made to stock exchange notices dated July 4, 2012 and July 27, 2012 regarding a private placement in Renewable Energy Corporation ASA ("REC" or the "Company") comprising the issuance of 866,666,667 shares. The private placement has now been registered in the Register of Business Enterprises.
The Company's new registered share capital is NOK 1,863,818,785, divided into 1,863,818,785 shares, each with a nominal value of NOK 1.00. The new shares will be immediately listed on Oslo Børs.
