SUFFOLK, Va., Aug. 19, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- North Suffolk Animal Clinic announced that the animal hospital is completing renovations to its existing space. The renovations include a new consultation room, an office for the veterinarians and practice manager, an upgraded waiting room, and new seating in the examination rooms. These improvements are designed to enhance comfort for both pets and their owners. The veterinary hospital serves the greater Tidewater region, including Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Newport News Norfolk and Hampton Roads.
Veterinarian Dr. Talmadge "Midge" H. Yeatts, Jr. announced that renovations to North Suffolk Animal Clinic are nearly complete. The Suffolk animal hospital will now feature a new consultation room, new seating in the reception area, and a new veterinary office.
"Our renovations are part of our ongoing commitment to providing the highest quality veterinary care," said Dr. Yeatts. "By upgrading our reception and consultation rooms, both our pet patients and their owners will be more comfortable during examinations. We are proud to provide cutting-edge diagnostic care, and committed to maintaining equally high-quality facilities at our practice. Not all Suffolk veterinary hospitals offer the same level of service and quality that we do."
The upgraded reception area includes new tile floors, contemporary colors and artwork by the pet portrait artist Georg Williams, and a custom tile feature at the front desk. For pet owners' comfort, new chairs have been added to the waiting area and all exam rooms.
The renovations also include two major additions for the animal hospital. A new consultation room will help accommodate more pet patients, reducing wait time. The renovations also include an office for the practice manager and veterinarians.
In addition to the new renovations, the vet hospital will continue offering many of the on-site services that make it unique among local veterinary hospitals. For example, the hospital provides advanced diagnostic services, including an on-site laboratory for blood chemistry and fecal sample analysis.
The animal hospital is also one of the only local veterinary hospitals to offer an in-house pharmacy for filling common prescriptions. Pet owners may also pick up flea and tick prevention and heart worm prevention, including leading brands like Heartguard and Frontline, as well as nutritional supplements and special diet food.
"Our pet hospital is truly a one-stop destination for all pet wellness needs," said Dr. Yeatts. "From annual exams and vaccinations to in-house diagnostic work and preventative medication, we are committed to meeting all the needs of each pet patient."
North Suffolk Animal Clinic provides comprehensive pet care services, including pet wellness exams, spay/neuter operations and pet immunizations. The hospital also offers puppy and kitten wellness plans. These programs include core immunizations, spay/neuter operations and deworming.
Pet owners may also access their pet's veterinary records online at any time through the clinic's digital record keeping program, ePetRecords. Pet owners may request an appointment online at http://northsuffolkanimalclinic.com.
